Rescue Cat Can't Help Staring at His Owner

His human mom gave him a brand new, loving forever home, now he can’t stop staring at her.

Presenting Wilber, this new Ginger cat was rescued by her owner and since then stares at her every moment. He watches her every step of the way and his human mom is never out of his view. He seemed to have managed to develop some kind of feline supervision. 

This is Wilber staring through the glass door. 

“My newly adopted cat Wilbur won’t stop staring at me. Soon after he came home he started staring. And he follows me around but not my husband,” Imgur user theacaciasteph explained.

According to  theacaciasteph the last owner did not want to take care of him anymore. There was nothing wrong with him, but guess they were too tired to take care of kitty. This can be shock of some kind or everlasting gratitude for his new mum!

mum! Disownment from his last owner can create psychological problems like anxiety, insecurity. Wilber is also known to stare at his new mum, just before she leaves for work. Jealously for other kitties can also develop but may vanish over time.

Even when his new mum is working at the computer or cooking in the kitchen, Wilber stares! he does not want cuddles, but manifests intense staring!

The owner also states that sometimes when the other cat Chloe plays with them, Wilber stands afar and just stares. He however, does not participate. 

This is just what she wakes up to every morning – Wilbur waiting to hear the sound of the “can opener”.

“I had to put a sweater that smelled like me on the floor beside my bed to convince him to sleep somewhere other than on top of me.”

She first thought Wilbur stared at anyone like this but soon to find out she is his only victim!
